Well, well, well, it seems I’m not so good at this blog thing as i thought i’d be! *sighs* well how bout an enlightening story? Now, where shall we begin?
One magical sunny day, there was this girl who went to the beach. It was a clear, blue sky day with the sea all aglitter from the sunshine! Fishes of all kinds and colours floating serenely amongst the coral; now i imagine this would be very inviting! Don’t ya think? Donning a pair of goggles and fins-to-fit, our girl jumped into the ocean with 2 other obliging females to dive and snorkel under the sea. They saw many things, such as groupers and sergeant majors and sunken artifacts to make the trip worth while. Of other note, one of the obliging females was nearly taken out by a young, sun-loving couple in a rather colourful kayak.
Now imagine, swimming slowly back to the beach still checking out the sea life when the sea begins to shallow and sand inevitably overtakes coral in the bid for shore space. Upon reaching the shore, fins and goggles are removed. At this point, remember the James Bond movie where Halle Berry emerges gracefully from the sea like Venus. Well, this doesn’t exactly happen in real life. What actually happens is the drainage of sea water and snot that inevitably gets caught in the mask. Ew gross! And instead of taking each step with grace and poise, our girl ‘emerges’ (or rather stumbles without grace or poise) from the sea coughing and spluttering, and still draining water from the chin up!
The moral of this story is….umm…well anyway maybe there really is no moral. It’s a story of awareness, yeah, that’s it!! It’s a story of awareness that not everything that happens in a movie can be as wonderfully executed in real life!
That’s it folks! Peace out!
